| RESULTS: Door to door analysis of green waste |

On 70 firms interviewed, 41
declared to be producers of green
waste biomasses too, with a global
production of 23031 tons per year
on a total firm area of 8043
hectares.
There is also a mean ratio of 2.9
tons of biomass produced per
hectare of firm extension. In fact
shifting from firm typology, the
ratio changes significantly from a
minimal value of 0.9 t/ha in the
farms with or without animal
husbandry, to 8.9 t/ha in the firms
for environmental services, up to
13.5 t/ha in the factories for
produce processing and
packaging.
64% of green waste is produced by the food and agricultural sector, 3% by for estry sector and 33% is of mixed origin.
